Class Presentation - COMMS301 Digital Communication and Practice -

This small project was for a short presentation I made for my Communications class as a Film student. My intention behind the design was to use the Melodrama's genre aesthetic and make a comprehensive presentation, so that it is easy for viewer to understand the genre's concept.
The marking criteria does not include design. The topic is to educate other students about a concept of things you passionate about. I chose Melodrama as I believe there are not many people who know about this genre. Inspired by my film classes, I took notes from text books and rewrote my ideas into a small but detailed presentation.
In The Mood For Love by Wong Kar-Wai is a beautiful example of this genre. I picked up on the setting and emotional interaction between the two characters as the mood for my presentation, so that the viewer can observe the genre's characteristic upon seeing the slides. Enjoy!
